Please read the following information before completing this application form.

Availability of places: Completing and sending this website application form does not guarantee a place on any course. You will be sent an email reply advising you of availability of a place – if there is a place for you, you will be invited to pay the course fee by cheque in the post (sorry, no credit card payments – this helps to keep costs down!). Once your full payment is received, confirmation of your place on the course will be sent to you by email.

Payments: ‘Wind Serenades’ course fees are as indicated in the details for each individual course. Fees are payable in full within 28 days of acceptance onto the course. All payments are by cheque via post. Acceptance onto the course (normally sent to you by email) will include an invoice with payment details. Course fees only cover the cost of the course – they do not include meals or accommodation.

Terms and Conditions*

Applications: Applications are on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. Every effort will be made to include players in ensembles and meet their stated preferences, but the Course Director's decision will be final in all instances. Enquiries for available places on a course can be made by the website application form. You will be advised as to availability - if there is a place for you, you will be invited to pay the course fee by cheque in the post (sorry, no credit card payments- please see PAYMENTS section of this application form). Once your payment is received, you will receive confirmation of your place on the course.

Young players: Players under the age of 18 may apply for places, subject to authorisation from a parent or guardian.

Course fee: Full course fee must be paid within 28 days of receiving confirmation that there is a place for you on your chosen course. If you do not pay your course fee within this period, your place may go to another player. Course fee covers the cost of tutored sessions as specified, and the provision of music for practice purposes (as required � printed copies are for loan until the end of the course.) It does not cover food, accommodation or any other facilities.

Cancellation: If you need to cancel, your payment is refundable up to 28 days before the date of the course. No refund can be made if you cancel (for any reason) with less than 28 days notice. In the event of a course having to be cancelled by the Course Director, as much notice as possible will be given to applicants, but liability in any event is strictly limited to a full refund of the course fee. Applications are only accepted on this basis.

Instrument and personal safety: Health and safety are always top priorities at all course venues, but applications are only accepted on the basis that you accept full responsibility for your own personal health and safety throughout the duration of the course. You are also entirely responsible for the safety of your own musical instrument(s). Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover in these respects, and that you know the specific requirements of your insurance and observe them throughout the course. Applications are only accepted on this basis.

Disabled players: Every effort will be made to meet the specific needs of any player. Please enquire with the Course Director well in advance of the course date concerning the suitability of any particular venue for access, etc.

Change of details: Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that each course runs as planned, it may be necessary to change details without notice. In the event of a course being cancelled (with or without notice), liability is strictly limited to a full refund of the amount already paid by each individual applicant. Players make their applications on this basis.

Please ask! The intention is for you to have a really enjoyable and satisfying music-making experience. If you are unsure about any aspect of this course, please do not hesitate to ask!

...but before you do, it would be really helpful (if you haven't already done so in the past) if you could help with some information about publicity and information distribution, musical details, course location, nearby facilities and attractions and what interests you as far as a weekend away is concerned. This is not obligatory - your application will go without any of this information, but if you do feel inclined to provide a few details, this would be of great assistance in setting up future courses in new locations.
