This is a real treat for all bass clarinettists and bassoonists! Here is your chance to play in the Finale of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture as you've never heard it before - a truly resonant version of this popular classic! This is open to all players including beginners, who will be given easy parts to play. The day will also include advice on technical matters which may include tuning, tone production, reeds, instrument set-up, fingerings, etc., as well as guidance on musical aspects of performance. For those who wish to, there will be a chance to try out a short solo piece in the class (unaccompanied, or without the piano part) and get some first-hand advice on performing at your best.
