'Voyages of discovery'
This is specifically for players of approximately grades 6-8 standard (click here for playing standard details) who already have some experience in ensemble playing and are interested in exploring some of the more substantial chamber repertoire for the first time. Expert tuition throughout the sessions will help with the specific details of the music being played, as well as general guidance on more advanced ensemble techniques (applicable to chamber music or orchestral playing). These one-day courses are located in attractive areas, so you can make the course part of a great weekend away! Your music will be sent to you (along with final course details) about 3-4 weeks before the course, for personal practice. All music is performed one-player-to-a-part, and there will be an informal run-through performance at the end of each course, with free admission to family, friends and any interested members of the public.
